Friendship Flowers Cookie Bouquet

I made this cheerful cookie bouquet for someone who wanted to cheer their friend up.  2 dozen bright, colorful flowers and butterflies,  with a center cookie that held a fun message.  This was my first cookie bouquet, so I'm still ironing out the kinks, but I'm doing another one on Friday, so I'll let you know how it goes!

Music Note Cookies

My sister asked for some cookies for her friend a few weeks back.  This friend shares a love of music and cookies, so why not combine those loves!  I made the cookies out of a new recipe I made up for my chocolate Easter bunnies - a yummy chocolate sugar cookie.  I can just imagine how cute these would look as the favors for a music recital, or a gift for someone who loves music.  I had fun!

Custom logo cookies for The Sugar Co.

There's a great cake and cupcake bakery in Arizona that I've done some work for in the past, and she requested some custom cookies of their logo.  It's a great logo, and holds a lot of meaning to them.

They are doing a giveaway on their facebook page for one dozen of my cookies, any design you want.  So look through my pictures and think of what you would like delivered to you , then head on over to her facebook page for the giveaway later this week!  www.facebook.com/TheSugarCo.

Easter Cookies, Part two!

I wanted to make a few more Easter designs for my shop for Easter, and I saw the cutest bunny cookie cutter, and I thought it would make the best chocolate bunny cookie!  I've always loved how a tall chocolate bunny looked in my kids easter basket, but honestly, who wants their kids eating a whole pound of chocolate?  So let them eat cookies!  I also made them in vibrant colors, and pure white.

They turned out so cute - and they are huge!  They are 6" by 3", and covered in a shimmery layer of sanding sugar.

I also made some more eggs.  I decided I didn't love the color palate of my previous eggs, so I punched up the color a little bit.

Have I mentioned that brown is officially my favorite accent color?  It compliments just about every color.  I made 3 dozen personalized eggs, so I was able to play around with different colors and designs.

I have a friend that volunteers at the greek festival every year, and he suggested I make some Greek Orthodox eggs.  Their Easter tradition includes the most gorgeous red eggs, and I wanted to honor their tradition with some red and gold egg shaped cookies.

I also added some bite sized sugar cookies to my etsy shop.  They are so cute and tiny!  Spotted eggs, flowers, tulips and chicks in my new bright color palate.  They would be so cute on a glass plate or sprinkled in Easter baskets!

I will be featured for a give-away on Sugar Co. this week, so if you want some free cookies from me - head on over to their page! www.facebook.com/SugarCoCakes.  I also did some custom logo cookies for their shop in Arizona, so look for that post later today.

Heart cookies

I had a request for some heart shape cookies as a surprise for her boyfriend.  I seem to gravitate toward brown frosting lately - I think it is a lovely accent color for pretty much anything!  Wait till you see my new Easter cookies! I wish I could do heart cookies all year long - they really are my favorite shape to frost.  Enjoy Angelique!

It's time for Easter cookies!

I've been extra busy this week with my son's birthday, but I just had to get some Easter cookies done!  I loved the cute little chicks and bunnies peeping out of their shells - and I think the crosses are gorgeous.  Check my ETSY shop www.etsy.com/shop/jducour for details on pricing and shipping - and if you would like to order them I just created a coupon code to be used at checkout for all my blog followers - BLOGGER - it will get you 10% off!  Check them out!  Here are just a few pictures of what I've got so far...

More Spongebob!

Here is the matching cake for the cookies I shared the other day.  It was chocolate cake with strawberry cream filling, frosted with almond buttercream, and covered with homemade marshmallow fondant.  I used royal icing to add the mouth and eye details.  It was a really great party!
