Dr Seusse Cookie Collection
I recently made some adorable cookies for a custom order. She requested a Cat in the Hat theme, including a hat-shaped cookie, and Thing 1 and Thing 2 cookies. I made 4 dozen of those, and 16 dozen bite size cookies to match. I absolutely loved these! I know I've said it before, but I love it when other people get these great ideas, and I get to make them!

Mustache Cookies On A Stick
I've had it in my mind for a while now to do some mustache cookies. I have an ever changing list of cookies I would like to create, but can't seem to find the time to. I had some left over dough and frosting, so I had to give these a try! I think they are so perfect for really any party - wedding, birthday, kid, adult - my kids had a hard time putting them down! I did some traditional colors - brown and black - but I especially love the colorful ones!

Did you guess right?
Cherry Chocolate Chunk |
It's cherry chocolate chunk marshmallows! I've been making homemade marshmallows my whole life - since I was about 8. I found the recipe in my moms old Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, and I've been hooked ever since. If you've never tried homemade marshmallows, you have no idea what you're missing! I'm a purist when it comes to most things, vanilla marshmallows will always be my favorite, but there is something so decadent about a marshmallow with ribbons of fudge or peanut butter or fruit. I'm constantly trying new flavor combinations, so if you have any ideas or requests - let me know!

Basketballs and Jerseys
I made these cookies for a client in California. Her niece was the star of her high school basketball team, and she was going to go to college in New York. She wanted to represent her past and her future in the jerseys, and she added a "Big Apple" cookie to represent New York. I also included a pic of something yummy I made today and added to my etsy shop - see if you can guess what it is!

Another cupcake tower!
I know the name of my blog is Exquisite Cookies, but I've been making so many cakes lately! I am currently working on a few cookie designs, though, so we'll focus on cookies more my next post, promise! Cupcakes seem to be getting more and more popular for weddings, and I can see why - they're more affordable than a large cake, they are easier to serve, and they are very cute! The other thing that is nice, is you can have a few different designs and colors. You don't have to settle on one element, you can have 3 or more different elements! You can also add a small cake to the top tier to have the tradition of cutting the first slice of cake. These cupcakes were 3 different flavors, spice cake with almond buttercream, chocolate with chocolate buttercream, and red velvet with coconut cream buttercream.
